Title: Analytical Engineer - Monitoring

Basic Function
Job Duties
- Reviews and validates potential failures identified by analytical tools.
- Reviews recent failures to develop potential analytical solutions.
- Collaborates with multiple groups to foster an adoption of analytical tools.
- Aids in the development of standardize work processes for analytical tools
- Supports the refineries in adoption of proactive monitoring solutions and work processes.
- Support reliability initiatives and investigations as needed.
- Develop templates, standard tools, and best practices for fleetwide applications
- Provides progress, learnings, and achievements cross-fleet
- Managing contractors and vendors associated with technology deployments
- Be a self-starter and prioritize work effectively
- Works on-site regularly, 1 week per month expected, special projects may require more travel
Experience
- A minimum of five years of experience in the Refining Industry with ability to understand oil flows and process unit technology
- Two years experience in using analytical tools for monitoring applications
- Knowledge around the use of process data historians
- Knowledge around multiple refinery process unit technologies
- OSI PI Asset Framework or equivalent experience
- Experience in delivering modern/digital solutions that include AI/ML Software
