Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking a HR Master Data Analyst in Dallas,TX. In this role, you will perform various functions, which majorly involve the master data management of data sources and guaranteeing the quality and accuracy of data, along with auditing and analyzing data. Responsible for entering text or numerical data from source documents into databases, spreadsheets, and auditing designated HR systems.

Job Duties

 

  • Responsible for reviewing source data and processing documents for data for entry purposes.
  • Key data from source documents into the HR systems.
  • Responsible for reconciling data reports and results.
  • Responsible for analyzing data and systems to determine accuracy.
  • Responsible for auditing HR systems data for accuracy.
  • Responsible for the analyses and interpretation of data using a variety of statistical techniques, with a focus on the accuracy of information.
  • Ensure all entered data are accurate and complete.
  • Get data from both primary and secondary sources, and maintain data systems.
  • Responsible for spotting and analyzing patterns in complex data sets.
  • Responsible for the review of reports and performance indicators to spot and correct coding problems.
  • Create specialized reports following the instructions of requesters.
  • Filter and sort data, carry out statistical analysis and calculate both mean and standard deviations, or measure correlations as needed.
  • Maintaining SLA's - accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

 

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience of Master Data Management or Human Resources work-related experience.

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Management, or related fields.  Previous experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

Required Skills

Must be knowledgeable and proficient with SAP or similar HR data systems, MS Office, data programs, and auditing of data. Proficient with spreadsheet and word processing applications; ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal communication; ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; intermediate level reading and writing skills; entry-level ability to collect, evaluate, analyze, and organize personnel-related data; basic knowledge of related employment regulations, Acts, and agencies; detail oriented.  Ability to handle confidential information, including Protected Health Information (PHI) and all compliance issues about relevant HIPAA regulations.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:

Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR) preferred.

Work Conditions

Office-based with occasional refinery visits, and with up to 10% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, and out-of-doors environment. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
