Title: IT Risk and Compliance Analyst Lead

Basic Function
HF Sinclair is seeking a IT Risk and Compliance Analyst Lead in Dallas,TX who will be responsible for ensuring enterprise compliance with adopted frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements. The team will act primarily as the second line in the three lines of defense model.
Job Duties
- Provides guidance for Business and IT management in regard to IT risk management matters, particularly on application and infrastructure security.
- Leads IT teams throughout internal and external audits and reviews of systems, applications, and IT processes.
- Responsible for helping develop, implement, and track management action plans in response to audit findings.
- Directs the facilitation management review controls for the SOX audit for IT including user access, infrastructure, authorization, and authentication control.
- Performs the final level of review for management review controls ensuring test attributes are met prior to Internal Audit delivery.
- Perform pre- and post- implementation reviews of system implementations or enhancements for controls readiness and design, document, ensure implementation, as necessary.
- Completes IT security reviews (e.g., network, operating system, and data center), including evaluating, identifying, and mitigating security vulnerabilities and coordinating the scope and performance of these reviews with IT Leadership
- Manages the IT enterprise policy library, including facilitation of document creation, revision, and storage.
- Performs various reviews of IT drills and exercises such as penetration tests, business continuity planning/ disaster recovery tests and incident response and assist in remediation where applicable.
- Assists Infrastructure teams in developing, building & implementing tools to analyze data to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leads the day-to-day activity of the IT compliance team, providing guidance to junior team members or technical resources members, as necessary.
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.
Experience
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with an IT background. Prior position in IT Governance/IT Audit – internal audit or external auditing firm. Progressive achievement in one or more of the traditional IT disciplines (applications, operations, infrastructure, and management). Technology or risk certification required e.g., CISA, Security +, CGEIT etc.
Preferred Experience
Experience with IT Operations. Understanding of multiple technology domains including software development, server management, database management, and networking.
Education Level
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting is required.
Required Skills
Understanding of IT general controls, SOX audits, and policy management. Ability to research and gather information from both business and IT functions, strong presentation, verbal and written communication, and ability to work on and manage multiple projects and responsibilities effectively.Familiarity with frameworks and standards such NIST CS1.1, COBIT 5, and ISO.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility
May provide oversight of technical resources.
Work Conditions
Office based with up to 20% travel by land or air is required. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions. Occasional long hours, as well as nights and weekends as needed.
