Title: Manager Payroll and Reporting

Basic Function
Job Duties
- Determine the appropriate Corporate Payroll approach and response based on Corporate business needs
- Represents Corporate Payroll in the policy and decision-making process
- Responds to external and internal requests for Payroll assists on projects and reports
- Modify Corporate Payroll systems or coordinate with third party to accommodate new legal entities or changes to payroll laws that impact the business
- Ensures SOX Compliance in payroll processing and reviews/revises SOX process controls with Internal Audit
- Manages the process of collection, entering and calculation of payroll data
- Reviews to ensure payroll related information entered into the system is accurate
- Ensures all child support, garnishments and levies are timely processed and paid through ADP
- Records stock vestings and dividend payments for Long Term Investment Plans while continuously monitoring the non-qualified deferred compensation plan and ensures compliance with federal law
- Interfaces with federal and state agencies on various issues
- Responsible for all payroll related general ledger accounts
- Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting and payment of payroll and unemployment taxes to all federal, state and local agencies through ADP
- Provide payroll related reports to all business units as needed
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their superior, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.
Experience
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in payroll function, 5 years in a leadership role at the corporate level, and 5 years of processing Payroll in SAP or equivalent ERP system is required. Must have multi-state payroll experience with more than 2000 payees.
Preferred Experience
Union experience in the payroll function
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation
Education Level
Preferred Education
Certified Public Accountant license
Required Skills
Must be able to direct and lead the work of other associates. Advanced hands-on experience with spreadsheet applications (e.g. MS Excel). SAP Payroll module and reporting system demonstrated knowledge and experience. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with others both written and verbal, advanced reading and writing skills, and the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations. Must have working knowledge of all relevant SAP Payroll and Personnel Administration (PA) module infotypes, wage types and transaction codes.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of SAP Payroll, ADP Tax Reporting, ADP Wage Garnishment and Kronos timekeeping system preferred.
