Title: Manager, University Relations

Basic Function
HF Sinclair is seeking a Manager, University Relations in Dallas, TX. You will be responsible for developing and leading university recruiting initiatives to include sourcing, recruiting and identifying talent. The University Relations Manager will be responsible for the Company’s campus recruiting strategy, including coordinating events, establishing campus relationships, and extending the employer brand.
Job Duties
- Create and execute campaigns to increase university brand recognition and awareness.
- Develop and manage the university relations strategy.
- Coordinate on site and campus events.
- Work with site ambassadors across the enterprise to ensure alignment and engagement.
- Monitor and report on university relations, talent acquisition, and employer brand trends.
- Lead the full cycle process for the Company’s Summer Internship Program and Early Career Rotational Programs
- Ensures and maintains the teams’ OFCCP Affirmative Action compliance throughout the recruiting process.
- Manage up to two direct reports that will be onsite recruiting resources.
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time at their sole and complete discretion.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years university recruiting experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Depending on assignment, specific recruiting experience and knowledge of certain roles in the oil and gas industry may be required. Experience with utilization and implementation of SAP’s Success Factors Recruiting, Marketing and Onboarding modules is preferred.
Education Level
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field is required or a combination of the equivalent number of years of education and work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Required Skills
A passion for continuous improvement as it relates to early career program enhancement.. A willingness to define issues and create solutions. Proven experience leading recruiting program and efforts successfully. Experience in full-life cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding. Demonstrated, working knowledge and the ability to leverage technology, including ATS and databases. Working knowledge of general human resources principles and ability to apply this knowledge as it pertains to the company. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn other computer applications, such as SAP, Applicant Tracking Software, and Recruiting System technology. Knowledge of federal and state employment practices. Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills are a must. Ability to work independently. Strong planning, customer service, customer orientation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal format. Ability to handle confidential information including Protected Health Information (PHI) and all applicable compliance issues in relation to relevant HIPAA and ADAAA regulations.
PRFERRED SKILLS:
SAP HCM experience specifically in Personnel Administration, HR Certification and SuccessFactors Recruiting experience is preferred. Knowledge of EEO and affirmative action laws and OFCCP Federal Contractor requirements.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility
Manage a team of 2 or more direct reports in the United States.
Work Conditions
Office based with up to 30% travel required by land or air. Subject to varying road and weather conditions.
