Basic Function

This role will lead our expansion efforts in the immersion cooling for compute industry and be responsible for driving business growth, building strategic relationships and identifying new opportunities in the rapidly evolving immersed compute sector, with a focus on blockchain and digital assets.  Ideal candidates would be based in Dallas, Texas, Western Canada or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).     

Job Duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the immersed compute industry
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, including clients, partners, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with the product development team to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of clients in the immersed compute market
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities for the business
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services
  • Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations to key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions, product positioning, effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the success of business development initiatives and make data-driven decisions

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Experience

Proven experience in business development or sales roles within any of the following fields: lubricants, compute, thermal management, liquid cooling for compute (immersion or direct to chip cooling) 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field required
  • A combination of work experience and education may be considered

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of immersion cooling technology, market trends and competitive landscape
  • Proven sales track record
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), PPT
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to build rapport and act as a team player
  • Strategic Minded, and action oriented

Work Conditions

Office based with up to 50% travel by land and air required. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.

Physical Requirements

Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise finger and hand movements, reaching or grasping; ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential, valid State driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
