Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking Reporting & Analyst Lead in Dallas,TX to support our EHS, Midstream, Asphalt, Renewables and other ad hoc business units. In this role, you will analyze business processes, lead cross-functional projects, and deliver data-driven reporting solutions that drive strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities, streamline operations, and implement impactful initiatives. This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Job Duties

  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope.
  • Data Analytics: Ability to understand complex data sets and direct development of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive reporting.
  • Report Development: Create and maintain comprehensive reports using Power BI and other M365 tools to visualize data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness through process mapping.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to gather requirements and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Influencing: Influence stakeholders and team members to drive project success and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Experience

Minimum of 5+ years of combined analyst / project management experience.

Education Level

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Required Skills

Proficiency in data analytics, Power BI, M365, Planner, Visio, and report development. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

May act as team leader during special projects, and may manage contractors and vendors

Work Conditions

Office based with travel up to 15% by land and air required.  Subject to all weather and varying road conditions. Petroleum refinery and out-of-doors environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, and rotating equipment.
