Title:  Crude Representative

Basic Function

HF Sinclair is looking for a Crude Representative in  Midland, TX who will be responsible for conducting high-level assignments for the Crude Oil or Lease Crude Acquisition department with complete autonomy.

Job Duties

• Maintains client base, as well as work on enlarging current client base
• Purchases crude oil from independent operations
• Trades crude with largest client for refinery supply
• Evaluates daily crude
• Monitors and maintain crude oil inventories
• Monitors monthly crude pricing and implement pricing strategies
• Manages day to day lease purchasing activities
• Travels on occasion into field to retrieve sample of oil from tank for testing purposes
• Assists other company departments with crude oil transactions

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Experience

One to fifteen years of experience in petrochemical lease trading is required.

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in business management/administration or related is required.

Self-starter with drive and ability to achieve planned objectives. Excellent creative, organizational, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to create mutual respect with peers and a positive work environment. Advanced ability to perform a variety of assignments as they relate to crude oil supply and/or lease crude acquisition, to perform crude oil marketing and trade assignments effectively, execute different acquisition and sale opportunities and multi-task. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft products. Ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal communicate, advanced

reading and writing skills, and ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

None.

Work Conditions

Office based with travel required up to 30% by land and air required. Petroleum refinery environment, out-of-doors, and driver based environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, fumes and airborne particles. Subject to all temperatures, weather, and varying road conditions.
