Basic Function
Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. (PCLI), an HF Sinclair company is seeking a temporary full-time Distribution Coordaintor for approoximately a one year contract. Reporting to the Team Leader Warehouse and Packaging Operations, the Distribution Coordinator has lead responsibilities for the co-ordination of daily activities required to support the Ontario and Quebec package product business. This includes but is not limited to analysis and assessment of existing routing infrastructure for package deliveries, report carrier issues to transportation in regards to damaged or missing freight. This position will provide back-up dispatching, scheduling, internal work designation, and load planning support for export container orders.
Job Duties
- Ongoing reviews of utilization of dedicated delivery system to improve service and reduce costs
- Provides back-up support for export container dispatch operations
- Acts as a key interface with carriers and Customer Service regarding emergency delivery requests
- Reviews and coordinates packaged product returns from customers with carriers and Customer Service
- Responsible for maintaining adherence to our EH&S and Quality programs as they relate to our package product operation
- Responsible for assigning and load planning of warehouse orders for domestic LTL, FTL shipments
- Managing and work designation for on-site material handlers, LTL, FTL and export container shipment loading
- Assists in the administration of inventory control functions to ensure accurate inventory levels
- Coordination with Production Planning team, verifying production planning and communicating to Customer Service team
- Lead point of contact for resolution of daily carrier issues such as missing or damaged freight
- Obtain freight rates and coordinate shipments with the warehouse for emergency deliveries in Eastern Canada
- Process and arrange all courier shipments
- Administrative process review and analysis and implementation of improvement opportunities for Eastern Canada
- Working with carriers and Transportation to identify and implement system improvements for package shipments
- Month end reporting of warehouse volumes for all warehouse operations and custom exports
- Complete daily product transfers from third party warehouse
- Review and maintenance of EH&S, ISO and TDG requirements for package shipments to ensure compliance by both carriers and the National Warehouse
- Review and process product returns, measuring quality, frequency and credits to customers
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of business related experience (manufacturing, logistics, dispatch, etc.)
- Dispatch/Logistics experience/background preferred
- SAP experience is an asset
Education Level
- Post-secondary education however a combination of education and work experience may be considered
- University degree preferred

- Strong working knowledge of SAP and MS Office preferred
- Lubricants product knowledge preferred
- Understanding of Petro-Canada Lubricants TLM and Quality programs is an asset
