Title:  MIS Helpdesk Coordinator II

Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking a Point of Sale Technical Support in Salt Lake, UT who will responsible to resolve moderate to complex end-user calls as related to Gas Station Point of Sale System installations. Audits, completes, modifies credit card system profiles and Mobile Payments configurations, under general supervision.

Job Duties

• Provides Tier 1 support primarily, and as needed to assist Customer Support staff
• Receives and responds to field technicians’ requests, providing support and resolving routine problems concerning Credit Card and Mobile payments processing
• Receives and coordinates, as needed, all levels of technical and system balancing questions from Gas Station Owner and Operators
• Assist in configuration, setup and testing of DINOPAY Mobile payment application
• Establishes and maintains effective lines of communication with end-users throughout the lifecycle of their issue or service request
• Maintains or problem solving for equipment provided by HF Sinclair
• Monitors and resolves entry-level issues relating to systems, network, and security
• Performs entry-level remedial actions to correct problems

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Experience

A minimum of two years of helpdesk or desktop technician experience is preferred.

Education Level

A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 

Required Skills

Intermediate-level computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Decision-making, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Intermediate reading and writing skills, basic reading skills, the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication. Understanding and the use of Payment Apps on Android or iPhone devices is necessary.

Preferred Skill

Computer Helpdesk, minor Networking experience and a General knowledge of credit card functionality would be valuable

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

None.

Work Conditions

The 8 hour shift is Monday through Friday between 7:00 to 7:00 with a hybrid schedule after completion of training .
