Basic Function

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and based out of Industrial Oils Unlimited, LLC located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Shipping & Receiving Associate facilitates production and distribution by unloading trucks and receiving packaged materials into inventory, pulling orders from inventory, staging finished products and loading finished product for shipment to customers.  This is a safety-sensitive position.  This position is not eligible for relocation benefits.  

Job Duties

  • Proactively locates and moves stock of products for storage or shipment a day prior to scheduled shipment
  • Scans product to reserve/stage to a Sales Order using handheld RF Scanner
  • Loads customer packages into trailers using forklift safely and efficiently
  • Ensures the company's standard of packaging requirements are met prior to loading
  • Takes pictures of loaded truck prior to closing doors and uploading them to computer
  • Checks out driver and completes shipping process in the system
  • Unloads incoming raw packaged materials using a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Completes sign out process with driver and receiving process in the system
  • Material handling throughout the production process as needed
  • Multi-tasks in a high traffic area safely
  • Maintains a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
  • Completes all shipping/receiving processes by days end leaving no open Purchase Orders
  • Diligent use of PPE always

Other duties as assigned from time-to-time as determined by Supervisor or management.  

Experience

Minimum of one year of experience in a safety-sensitive manufacturing or production environment.  

Education

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.  

Required Skills

  • Forklift experience required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic math skills
  • RF Scanner experience required
  • Verbal and written skills necessary to read and follow instructions
  • Meet dress code of a neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Punctual and diligent in adhering to work schedules

Work Conditions

Indoor/outdoor, production plant/warehouse environment.  Exposure to petroleum products including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, working in confined spaces, and exposure to the risk of electrical shock.  Subject to all temperatures and weather.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
