Basic Function

HF Sinclair Woods Cross Refining LLC, located in West Bountiful, Utah, is seeking Yard Laborers. This position must be capable of using various safety equipment, including all forms of personal protective equipment (i.e., but not limited to, respiratory protection; chemical protective clothing; hearing protection; various eye, face, and head protection; and footwear), and perform general maintenance duties. 

Full time | Hourly rate $27.43 | Competitive Benefits Package Including, 401(k) Retirement Plan, and Educational Reimbursement.

This position is not eligible for International Relocation Program benefits.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)   

• Duties include climbing, working in confined spaces, and some lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.  Carrying up to 50 lbs. may be performed while climbing stairs.
• From a high location (10’-70’), pull-up tools, pullers, etc., with a rope and a bucket weighing 5-15 lbs.
• To carry and use portable fire extinguishers weighing 50-55 lbs.
• Capable of opening/closing large (10”) gate valves
• Capable of moving barrels of oil (300 lbs.) and setting on permanent and portable racks using appropriate handling tools.
• Be able to open fire hydrants and connect fire hoses quickly.
• Be able to work alone any time of the day in all types of weather.
• Maintains clean and orderly working facility and job sites
   
  Rotating shifts may be required. Able to work a 16-hour shift, mostly on your feet. Maintenance and/or Operations experience within an industrial environment is desired, as positions may also assist craft people. A comprehensive physical, drug screen and background verification are required. A valid driver's license is required and the ability to be contacted by e-mail is necessary.

Education Level

High School Diploma.
