Velocity – Summer Internship Experience
HF Sinclair offers a robust internship for students seeking to gain real-life experience in the energy industry. We pride ourselves in presenting university students the opportunity to impact their team while employed with us in the summer. In our Velocity program at HF Sinclair, you will be given an individual project to work on throughout the 10 weeks as well as daily tasks assigned to you by your manager. All of the work assigned to our interns are real world functions that are essential to the success of our business. At HF Sinclair we offer a multitude of internship opportunities from technical roles at our various sites like chemical engineering and health and safety, to corporate opportunities like procurement and human resources.

Co-Op Program
HF Sinclair’s Lubricants & Specialties division offers year round co-operative education opportunities for local students seeking valuable industry work experience. HF Sinclair offers 4, 8, 12 and 16 month co-op opportunities in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental health & safety, production/manufacturing, marketing, sales and sales support.. 

Rotational Development Program
The Rotational Development Program is one that allows new and recent graduates to gain exposure and experience in several business areas at HF Sinclair. As a rotational development associate you will transition through four departments consisting of procurement, internal audit, renewable fuels and global logistics. Each term is six months in duration. This program is designed for high-potential talent who can learn at a quick pace. Upon completion of the four terms, rotational associates are typically promoted to a permanent placement within the organization.
